Hi, I’m Marissa and I care deeply about creating photos that feel honest!
The laughter that catches you off guard, the nerves before the ceremony, your favorite people all in one place, the quiet moments in-between everything else…those are the memories I’m drawn to most.
While I absolutely help guide parts of the day and create space intentionally for portraits and meaningful moments, I never want your wedding to feel like one long photoshoot. My goal is for you to actually experience your day while I document it unfolding naturally.
I’ll step in when direction is helpful, keep things moving when needed, and also know when to simply let a moment be what it is. I’ll fluff the dress, fix the veil, carry flowers, and probably tear up behind my camera at least once.
I want you to feel comfortable enough to fully be yourself, whether that means running around laughing together, crying during private vows, dancing at golden hour, or simply holding each other quietly for a second.
More than anything, I want your photos to feel like you. Just honest moments, beautifully documented in a way that still feels real years later.
